Most of the Argyle line between Dalmarnock and Exhibition Centre lacks signal as it's mainly tunnel. It's possible to get very strong signal in Glasgow Central Low Level / Argyle Street stations on EE. Vodafone not so much.

Pity the 225s don't go north of York

The northbound is a bit longer tho. The missing via W Mids services are best coming back I think at some point. Though there are more northbound via W Mids services serving Glasgow than southbound.

It's better for the missing Glasgow via Birningham services to return, rather than the Trent Valley services to call at Crewe.

If its a long term closure, I wonder how the 334s east of Bathgate will get to Shields for maintenance.

I am Glasgow based, so preferably anywhere less than 3 hours train journey each way of Central or Queen St. Though I still welcome any other suggestions!
