If Avanti for example were to run to Fort William for example, you'd need to extend Glasgow Central Low Level platforms, and have bi-modes. Or run through from Edinburgh via the E&G.

Is this ticket definitely valid via the ECML? Its the Off-Peak Return any permitted. I am planning on returning from Kings Cross to Edinburgh and then Scotrail over to Glasgow.

I was on 9M55 and seen the damaged gantry, there was a lot of NR staff nearby, and a stranded train.
As my train was the first one towards Euston, it was very busy after New Street.
A charter could do it with a reversal in Dagenham, but the shortest I can think of Is Stratford - St Pancras, St Pancras - Farringdon, Farringdon - Stratford
