Had the Full LNER on the 08:00 KGX to YRK on Tuesday. I was actually quite impressed with the amount of food you get given. As I understand it that was part of an already negotiated long term deal. IMO it's not a good look to have one long running dispute going, and then suddenly out of the blue add new demands to it.

Why have they suddenly added a pay rise to their demands, despite only just having one...

I have a sweet tooth and it had the spot. I had the same on the journey back (although the stew instead of the fish), and they gave me a teaspoon to eat the tart with, which was a bit odd. I'm sure I got a dessert spoon on the journey out. :s

Had the Chalkstream trout on a trip from KGX to Edinburgh on Monday. Was really nice, and a nicely sized portion of fish too. I also had the Apple Tart (they kept calling it a pie though :s), which was also very nice, and a decent size too. Made a change to be presented with dessert on a plate...

It's a bit odd tbh, as they never had such screens on the "proper" railway, and the businesses that did have them (pubs etc.) have all ditched them ages ago. This "we need to bring back masks" thing appears to have become an annual thing to trot out, going into the winter, for certain sections...

No, they're two entirely different formats.

70mm and IMAX 70mm are two different things though. The Odeon shows the former.
