    GWR Waterloo and Euston

Yes of course, I just meant there shouldn‘t be too much work, if any on the ground to do. I’m not commenting further now.

    GWR Waterloo and Euston

I was responding to the person hoping 36 minutes was not a final path. I’m not that good at posting including quotes. 1716790776 Yep and as they’re slightly different it shouldn’t be too hard to get the restriction removed.

    GWR Waterloo and Euston

I know, but considering the 805 and 807s are it shouldn’t be too much work to get them cleared…..

    GWR Waterloo and Euston

Oh yeah I get that, I was more responding to the comment that if the platform was available, we’d be able to run them early from WLJ

I work Wembley box. The tricky bit will be getting a gap at WLJ. The 15mph crossovers are a pain.

    GWR Waterloo and Euston

13.5 minutes from Euston - Acton ML isn’t bad. But agreed coming the other way is slow as coming the other way, pathing through WL Junction is trickier. I wouldn’t think these are the final path though.

Multi-currency card, what is the best?

Yep we use Wise as well.

Goblin - Watford DC line link

The entire DC line from Kilburn High Road to Watford is controlled manually by one signaller. admittedly, mostly in auto, except around Queen’s Park, Stonebridge Park, Harrow and Watford. So at any one time, the signaller will have 7 DCs on the patch and 5-8 LULs all constantly requiring...

RMT turns down Network Rail Pay Offer

NR have always used Novembers RPI as the benchmark for the following Januarys pay award.

    A career as a signaller

As said you’d get the enhanced rate after midnight. But if it’s your base roster its not classed as overtime in the way a RDW or Sunday worked is.

Euston Disruption From Signalling Faults (2/3 April)

There is still a fault at Euston, the fault that’s been ongoing there the last few days has been narrowed down and is affecting platforms 10-12 only now.

Stations justifying an additional platform if space permitted

Stonebridge Park and Harrow and Wealdstone could do with one on the down DC, so that in the event of late running on the LUL, through trains aren’t held up while the terminators are tipping out. Even better if an extra crossover south of SBP could be installed to allow an LUL to turn back south...

Northern issue - train becoming uncoupled near Hull

I don’t know. It wasn’t me on Twitter.

    Dangerous boarding procedures at Euston

We try to avoid 16, we generally only use it if we are stuck or for a long layover,

Northern issue - train becoming uncoupled near Hull

There is a divided freight train near Ferriby.

    Dangerous boarding procedures at Euston

Euston is quite unusual in that its ‘slow line’ platforms are between the ‘fast line’ platforms. Not easily solved either as the layout between Camden and Euston is optimised for that. All that said, the Euston layout is extremely restricted compared to Paddington to Ladbroke Grove for instance.

    A career as a signaller

I’m a relief, albeit at a single box. I tend to get more days than nights. The days are so much busier that the residents prefer to take those off.

    Berkhampstead

I messaged LNR a few weeks about it. They‘re aware of the issue and working on a fix. May just as well put Berko on there……

Phew. That’s what I’ve been paid for the last three years . Would have been nice back pay though.

    Single location relief is 10%? It’s 4% isn’t it?
