Hi, I am flying from London City Airport soon.

I will get a single ticket from SWR land to Waterloo, then take the Jubilee & DLR to the airport changing at Canning Town. TFL Planner said the fare using contacless is £ 2.40.

I know I will have to tap in at Waterloo when doing down to the Jubilee Line, I presume that there are readers to tap out at the Airport Station on DLR? Do I have to tap in and out too when changing from Jubilee to DLR at Canning Town and if so would that be on yellow or pink readers that some interchange stations have. ? I presume that I would have to do the same on the return journey too?

Many thanks.

Tap in at the barriers at Waterloo tube, and tap out at the standalone readers at City Airport DLR (at the bottom of the escalators).

No intermediate taps required at Canning Town, and just do the same in reverse on the way back.

Be aware that departures at Canning Town towards City Airport can be from either the upstairs DLR platforms (above the Jubilee platforms) or the downstairs ex-Silverlink platforms (accessible via subway).

There are screens on the Jubilee platforms describing the next 10 or so DLR trains and their platforms.

Many thanks for that tip off. I shall try to remember to look at the screens before going onto the DLR.
