Could anyone advise the correct position if someone passes all Freightliner tests to national standard but fails one of their enhanced standards? Does this enable the candidate to reapply to other companies, or does it require a delay of 6 months (and if so is that only where the other company has the same enhanced standard? in which case, how do you know which is which?). Thanks!

As far as I understand anyone that requires a higher standard than you gained for that particular test you will have to wait 6 months for, anyone that requires the national standard you could apply for straight away.

And in addition to what Coach Carter says you won’t know until you apply and actually get past the sift that they will tell you wether you can progress or not.

How many people got the FL call about Crewe this week?
Yes I did however I politely declined as I would rather wait for a driver position as my current role allows me the time to wait. Good luck to those who will start in the yard, will be great experience ready to move on the mainline!

Last week at work for me this week!

Had a mail from FL to say they hadn't had my references yet! Concerning!

Particularly odd seeing as to the best of my knowledge they didn't ask any of my course for references at all... you must have come across as a bit dodgy Martin

You guys & girls on the Crewe and Ipswich course must be coming to the end of training by now? Hope you're all still enjoying it.

With the March course in Crewe programmed in, wonder where the May course that's been mentioned will be and what depots it will cover.

I’m hoping it will be another Ipswich course to be honest. Considering I passed my tests at the end of June last year... it’s coming close to a year and I’m still constantly checking my emails everyday in hope!! :frown:

Wow go you! That's definitely the way to do it!
I have 25 days between finishing my job and the course starts, but the most exotic place I'm going is Center Parcs
