The advert just says do you live in or near Bristol , I didn't check the postcode , just a heads up for people that might be interested .
I wasn't trying to correct you, I was just pointing out the location.
You need to live within 60 minutes of Whatley Quarry.

Very quiet! No news apart from the new adverts for Bristol and Crewe.
Pull up a seat as this may take a while.

If the previous timelines are to be gone by and there is a course in May as previously floated about, then we should hear something in the next 2-4 weeks. I think the medicals and provisions seems to be set up about 8-10 weeks before training starts.

Put in an application for Frome/Whatley quarry, hopefully second time lucky but I am not looking forward to the VSE o_O I wonder if I manage to get past that if Freightliner will ask me to sit the psycometric tests again as I passed with intermodal in 2015.
Saying that I have to get through the SJT first

If you passed the Pshchometric Assessments in 2015, assuming you pass the VSE you’ll go straight to DMI as Freightliner use results for 5-years....however, the OPC have a habit of asking everyone to attend the assessments anyway, only to tell them on the day that they don’t need to sit them. I think this is because they genuinely don’t know until they ask you what you’ve already sat, on the day of the assesments? (There’s some logic behind it I’m sure). If you’ve literally done them all, and with Freightliner (intermodal or Heavy Haul is irrelevant - it’s the same assesment/standard), you may not have to attend at all, only for a DMI? Good luck!

Tell me about it!!!! Doesn’t say whether it will be a manual or auto vehicle though...
Mate when that’s all you have left to worry about....just think of the rest of us drowning in the depths of the pool.
Best of luck to you and the other starters, keep us updated on how you get on.
