Is anyone able to say if this is up to date - Are there any other examples anyone is aware of?

Presumably Network Rail have budget / responsibility to maintain gauge through the platforms. Who is responsible for upkeep of any buildings or property assets (if there are any) at these stations?

I believe Weymouth Quay is now formally closed.
I don’t think the station was subject to formal closure procedures as we know them. It probably happened well before the 2005 Act tightened the procedures.

Indeed in a previous thread, someone reckoned that services had ceased in 1987, and the station was considered closed before the 1993 Railways Act. But did the station building ever belong to Network Rail at all, or had it been transferred to the ferry company beforehand?

Are there some in the Stoke/Staffordshire/Midlands area that don't have passenger trains stopping, Wedgwood, Barlaston, Stone, Norton Bridge, Atherstone, Polesworth? Also Teesside Airport?, Reddish South & Denton?

Teesside Airport has its service again since last December. Norton Bridge is closed. Stone has a regular service.

Wedgwood and Barlaston are included in the linked article.
Stone, Atherstone, Polesworth still have services.
Norton Bridge was properly closed Dec 2017.

Atherstone and Stone are both served by hourly WMR services, Euston to Crewe and Birmingham to Crewe respectively.

That's good news, thank you. Logan Air have started flights from Bristol to Teesside. I'd like to give that a go when Lockdowns and masks are finally history

Just looked into the details and the flight is weekdays only... not so good it you want to catch the one Sunday only train.

IBM Halt.

Station is not officially closed, but no services are calling there pending redevelopment of the old IBM site.

It actually does run on Sundays. As it happens, there is a (slightly tight) 1.5 hour connection from the train to the flight. But not in the other direction.

Didn't Newhaven Marine officially close some time in 2020?
Yes, I’ve since looked it up, I believe the official closure would have been 4 weeks after ORR’s ratification notice (24 Sep 2020), so presumably 22 Oct? Or does the notice date count. Academic point really, it’s still closed anyway…

What would the opinion on Sampford Courtenay be? I don't know what the situation is in terms of its ownership and whether or not its been transferred to Network Rail as part of the Okehampton works, or being a privately owned station whether or not is was ever officially "open", but it did appear in the ORR statistics, and I don't believe any of the new Okehampton services will call there.

Sampford Courtenay was on the track owned by the Dartmoor Railway, so not part of the National Rail network. Though the track has now passed into Network Rail ownership there are no plans to serve Sampford Courtenay. I guess then that, as it was only open as a private station, there is no closure process to follow.

Those two were suspended for a while because of covid, but the service (1 train per week in each direction) now seems to have resumed.
It didn't run on May 15th. The ticket office staff didn't even know that the service existed: quite baffled when I asked what had happened to the parlly
