i bought a lima mk2 to flush glaze, as i had some hornby ones that had already been flush glazed and bought some finecast flush glazing to use on the lima one
but on further inspection the hornby and lima coaches have different sized window apertures, the lima ones having a smaller size, but it looks like southeast fine cast assumes "all mk2 windows are the same size" as the pack ive bought that says for lima on, the windows themselves are for the bigger hornby windows
people say to enlarge the lima ones to fit the glazing, but the glazing is much bigger to the point you would have to enlarge the aperture so much you would loose the window frame detail on the outside thats how much bigger the glazing is so i wouldnt personally go down that route, not as most people say, enlarge them only a little bit
so my question is does anyone actually sell the correct smaller frame flush glazing for the lima mk2, not the bigger for the hornby mk2?
ive even tried to cut the windows into individual pains but again the windows are to long to fit in the aperture and cutting the windows down diddnt really work either
