I dont think 213 has been in for refurb yet

Edit
I just found a photo on n Facebook it has been refurbished
Thanks for that - just found a pic on Flickr of it in new livery which has appeared in the last 48 hours. A search by date order of photos taken on there suggests it was still in ATW livery on 11th March so presumably the process has been completed within the last month :)

Is there a fixed date when the new Transport For Wales class 197s enter passenger service.
Initially it was May TT but at present theres no concrete date as yet, due to the testing and training that's been delayed by covid.

Is 150 208 still in Canton or has it been released and replaced by another unit?

Presumably 153 918 and 153 982 are still in Landore too?

I presume the 2 northen 150s will be for the Wrexham-Bidston’s, as the 2 that currently get used are destined for the valleys. A 230 is planned to start in service on the Wrexham-Bidston’s from May tt, so these 150s must be to cover the 230 introduction.

May I ask which 150s remain in service with the Arriva exterior/interior please? They’re looking very grubby now.

Am I right in thinking:

Refurbished 208 213 217 227 235 236 237 240 241 242 245 251 253 254 255 256 257 259 264 267 278 284

Unrefurbished 229, 230, 231, 250, 252, 258, 260, 262, 279, 280, 281, 282, 283, 285

Also, on a side note, RealTime Trains shows refurbished 208 213 217 227 235 236 237 241 242 245 255 256 259 267 278 284 with an unrefurbished ATW livery picture, and unrefurbished 260 with a refurbished TfW livery picture. Refurbished 254 and 264 are unallocated today so I don’t know what RTT shows for them.

Correct except:
264 is in the works being refurbished
282 and 283 have been refurbished already

We also established before that the livery on RTT isn't necessarily accurate.

They’re the only unrefurbished TfW trains in service.
I believe two 153s are long term out of use while they get a PRM refurbishment - which has been going on for ages.

150224 and 225 are currently on west side work so potentially they could be the candidates TfW have picked? Of course things could well change.

They’re part of the small group of 150/2s in a pool with the 150/1s.

Any word on which class 150 is now being refurbished at Canton after the completion of 150 264?

Northern stated last week that the two 150/2 units to be loaned to TfW would be from the Neville Hill allocation, made available following service reductions east of the Pennines. It’s since been posted elsewhere that they are 150269 and 150270.

Loaning sets from Newton Heath was never likely given the continuing need to cover for failed Class 769 units.

where has this been stated please

No more 153s for TFW please, I hope they are just there for a refurb only then back to Northern.
i would prefer more 2 car 153s to not having a train these could however be for parts or for a refurb into bike carriers lets see whats planned before we complain to much shall we
