Do you specifically need to park at Parkway? Luton station is £5.60 for an entire day and a few mins away by bus or train.
Recently I've used the 387s a few times from Kings Cross and the corridor connections have not been use. Rather annoying when the rear fills up and the front has ample seating.

That doesn't answer my question at all - please show me figures which show revenue per passenger is higher for long-distance journeys versus commuters using season tickets.

While I have my qualms with the station design, I think the most idiotic decision was installing barriers on the EMT concourse. Passengers flowed far better with the manual gate arrangement and, as it is, half the time the barriers are open and manual checks are in operation anyway!

Was onboard a delayed Bedford service this afternoon which had an extended stop at City Thameslink. Not really sure what happened but it seems it had a decent knock on effect, all things considered.
