Not correct,I'm afraid.
Both locos still existed in 1981 when I photographed them inside the shed.
I understand that they were cut up on site in February 1982.

With regard to brake tenders on the Western Region - in the early to mid 1970s,the early evening Llantrisant to Kingswinford working regularly had a brake tender.
