Ex-BR S&T Telecommunications employee! Made redundant along with the rest of our office after privatisation in spite of the government promise of "Zero redundancies due to privatisation!!" Go figure!

Son of a railwayman, and Grandson of another, I have moved around the country as a child and BR staff member. Used trains wherever possible for transport, combined with a bike it is unbeatable.

The profile pic was taken on Monday, 30th July 2018, during a cycling holiday in Norfolk, the subject being 37 409 at Great Yarmouth having just propelled the 12:34 from Norwich to Great Yarmouth, top-and-tail with 37 419, arriving at 13:06. The loco will then lead on the return working to Norwich.
