hello my great grandfather worked on the railways in 1861 was a locomotive fitter in new bradwell we were told he went to russia to work on the railways he is supposed to have invented something for the railways and made a lot of money just wondered when he was in russia he cant be found on the 1881 british census so that could be a clue best wishes elaine clayton
