EDIT: Just realised they bought Two EMD GP38-2s for those sets.
Some images have appeared online of power cars undergoing acceptance testing in Nigeria. I can't post the images but it is a full white livery with a red band similar to the Talgo sets they have out there. 43008 and 43184 are those in question.

Is the 730 roll out still expected to begin in April and then all 323s gone by June? That seems to be a very fast withdrawal - December might be more reasonable.
This is one of the reasons that halving services (such as Liverpool to Norwich) is and was a bad idea. Another was the removal of Birmingham to Skegness trains which severely reduced the appeal to most people.
Thanks, the gates were in use but had no stickers to say how to use them. The staff didn't seem too concerned that they were open and didnt close them whilst I was there.
There are still a few peak time 387s that use those platforms (1708 and 1739) hence why I was a bit confused that they...
Since when has this station had platform barriers in the middle of the island? It looks like a newer installation but all the gates are locked open.
Can anyone shed any light on this?
