Hanover have been in for a week and are due back soon, repairing and replacing individual units across the fleet, fitting the 10 new open tops in full in white, replacing mobitec and brightec sets in 3 small solos in white, and fitting the 3 blue E400s and 1 more small solo with new white to free up spare units.

That's great to know. Haven't seen them yet, but hopefully the Mousehole Solos that have been done have had the side and rear displays reinstated?

Some of the existing open toppers could do with new displays. The LEDs are very dim on them.

Their van was seen in Camborne last week. Are they fixing some of the rear displays that aren't working?

They don’t need replacing. The sensors need cleaning or replacing

Bristol Unibus 33492 on test at St Erth ahead of rail replacement duties in the coming days. I was expecting an Airport Flyer as they were due.

I saw 36826 and 3 of her other siblings on the A30 around lunchtime heading towards Penzance.

Edit: 36825/6/7/8 I think

There are several Unibus examples and some Airport Flyer one’s. Having checked my records I have seen 33491-33494 and 36825/7 & 8.
I understand there may be another one but I have seen the seven listed. Indeed 36826 is around as shown in post #13,334.

A day of contrast. Leaving Redruth at about 1030 this morning many Tinners were displaying 'Bus full' heading east. Conversely the 91 from Newquay was a Lizard Optare and a vehicle I will avoid in future. It was crowded with no chance of social distancing and no sign of a 'Bus full' sign. Seems a strange vehicle to have on the 91 especially with late night shopping in Truro.

Anyone know what it tracking as 11036 - AN02 EDN, I would love it to be the bendy but I know uts likely one of the newly added deckers

These two were seen at Camborne this week, Volvo B7TL 32096 was on service T1. I wonder if these would have passed each other somewhere on the roads of Somerset previously? 32619 in unbranded green today. My photo.IMG_5746rev.jpg

Good photo and nice historic capture.

They wouldn't have encountered each other very often. The Flyer vehicles are Hengrove based and run exclusively (except in the days) between Temple Meads and Bristol Airport. Whilst 32096 did a stint in Bristol, it was reallocated to Bath depot. Whilst it was largely confined to the Bath Uni services, in the summer they did sneak onto other routes and it could have gone past Temple Meads and into the bus station where the Flyer vehicles run from. Summer also meant time on RR replacement work and lo.... (credit to photographer)

According to Bustimes Mousehole Solo 53704 is on the A1 today! The seat availability shown on the First bus app suggests this is correct.
