Dartmoor Explorer timetable is on traveline. Once per day from Plymouth to Exeter, leaving each end at 10am. Interlapping sections north of Tavistock . Hopefully this works and First can add a few journeys in and develop the route. Used traveline West Midlands

The L1/3/5 routes are on there but the L1 hasn't changed, Yet.
There is also route called S1/2/3 which are Newquay to other locations which is interesting.
The S1-S3 (haven't twigged the significance of the S prefix - it's probably blindingly obvious) seem to be linking Newquay with the various large holiday/caravan parks. Was something that Western National used to do (e.g. the old 305 to Trevelgue) but they fell out of favour in the dark days of First.

The S2/S3 look to be two hourly, run with the same vehicle. Don't know if two hourly to Treloy (S3) would be frequent enough for people but if you don't try, you'll never know.

Looks like most things are on Travelline SW with all the DayTripper routes, Falmouth Coaster, Discover Exeter

Also EXMO (Exmoor Coaster) is there with 6 trips Minehead to Lynmouth and 3 Minehead to Watchet..... I feel a trip to Minehead Parkrun coming on....

New First Kernow and Buses of Somerset summer timetables have now appeared on Traveline http://www.travelinemidlands.co.uk/wmtis/XSLT_SELTT_REQUEST?language=en

Interesting, thanks for that. It also shows the route maps which is rather nice, it gives a good idea of where some of the new routes are starting to/from.

Also, it’ll be nice to see FK back in Looe! Steadily expanding back up the county!

T1/2 are back to half hourly as well from 16/5 on those timetables so there goes the theory from some earlier in the week there will be surplus Tinner MMCs

I wish I knew when the likely end date of these summer enhancements were, as I may be down in Cornwall in September once you don't have to remortgage your house to afford a hotel!

Do you think they'll keep them running after the schools go back?

Usually they keep running until a week after the schools go back. After that the service (Open toppers) is reduced until mid october. Then its all over for another year!

Interesting things to note from the new timetables:

- Route 86 is back after a 2 years and is running hourly rather than the 2 hourly frequency in previous years.

- Atlantic Coaster (A4&A5) is running every 2 hours with majority of service going to St Ives.

- On the A1/A2/A3 there's a A1 which leaves at 17:30 and a Tfc A1 that leaves at 17:40 which I find quite amusing.

I had a very cheap 7 nights booked at the new Premier Inn next to Penzance Station for last April which had to be cancelled due to lockdown. The hotel would only have been open a few weeks and prices were only at around £39 a night.

I thought that I would rebook for September this year and was horrified to find the price was around £800 for 7 nights. I have now got a 7 night stay booked for the first week in October and it was only £351 when I booked a few weeks ago. I’m pleased I booked it because I see the price has now gone up to £961 for that same week in October. That price doesn’t even include breakfast!

I’m also hoping that if Cornwall is going to be very busy right through into October that the summer timetables might be extended into October.

86 also goes back to its old route via Treliske Hospital

Yes, that's my repaint plan up in flames!

It's excellent news that the T1 / T2 are being fully restored.

The M6 goes to 3bph Mon-Sat and 2bph Sundays, but the last journeys on the 17 and M6 haven't been restored.

I guess it begs the question as to when the mmcs are expected to return from Somerset? Apologies in advance if it's been mentioned and I missed it
Lol. The 20 Volvo B7TLs sold to Ensign will all have departed by the summer holidays so there’s a good indicator on at least 20 of them!

Bustimes shows 32102 out on the A1 today. Nice day for an open top bus ride, if a bit chilly!

No pink Solos on the M6 today. The M6 regular, the remaining Barbie one, has been joined by the remaining BoS liveried one. I assume both will be line for repaints soon.

In the queue but more important ones in front. The BoS one needs to go away for a while for specialist attention before painting !

32527, for Kerdroya, a project by Golden Tree. Marc Morgan Huws has posted photos on Twitter. I think it's my favourite partner to date.

He’s replied to a question that the other one in same base colours will receive same livery

I've been around in Penzance for long enough to remember the shysters and sharks who tried to make a fortune out of the Total Eclipse centred on West Cornwall in 1999. It didn't go well for most of them long term, and I speak as someone very much involved in running a business legitimately in the area for thirty years. You may rest assured the vast majority of Premier Inn staff will not be profiting from this greed, and the old excuse of 'market forces' will not wash. The local area (Penzance East ward on Cornwall Council) is one of the most deprived in England in official government statistics.

Looking on Booking.com it's on the high side of the price range for hotel/B&B accommodation in the area during that week, but by no means an outlier. All these business need to survive somehow after a pretty disastrous and are going to charge whatever they think the market can bear.

They're clearly banking on a bumper early autumn, so that's good news for the buses as well.

I've just been looking further at the timetables and maps on Traveline.

As previously mooted the LEC (Land's End Coaster) is diverted via PZ Promenade to serve the Jubilee Pool. The stopping arrangements at the pool should be interesting! Not sure what I think about it missing out the town centre given its role as an important local bus service as well as a seasonal tourist service.

On the 17 alternate journeys are diverted via St Teresa's Care Home near Long Rock. Excellent idea especially as the section of route between Long Rock and the by-pass is a stop-less no man's land.

For those who don’t use Twitter:

most certainly my favourite partner livery to date!
It looks really good. Maybe the 53 plate Geminis will get a new livery for the park and ride operation.
32350 hasn't tracked on Bustimes since late March so maybe it is away getting painted.

Anyone know which Geminis will be extras for the Lizard routes as there are only a few left unpainted, unless more are due?

If Lizard1324 is referring to the Falmouth P&R isn't that going to be operated by singles due to a low bridge?
