Good morning, All being well I shall be travelling via Wimbledon Railway Station later this week, with more luggage than usual. I have heard that due to CV, the lifts there have been taken out of action? Does anyone know if that is true? if so, I shall take plan B.

Thanks Steve.

I would rather doubt it, it would be a major violation of equalities laws to do so. Where did you hear such a rumour?

I think I read it in one of the Tabloids, so perhaps not the most reliable source of information. I have looked on SWR website and it is not mentioned there.

I used them on Monday. Took the bike up. Only used P5 but they were all open. I’ve used them during covid too. Only thing in place is the standard one way system.

I’ve heard that the lifts at Finsbury Park to the NR platforms have be taken out due to covid, is that true?

I don’t know. Like someone said, I don’t know if you can legally take them all out. Maybe reducing the number in operation, yeah, but taken out I’m not so sure.
