Whilst changing trains at Clapham Junction one evening last month, I had twenty minutes or so to kill. So I put the time to good use videoing a few trains:

Hope it's of interest.

Ron.

Modern day cameras make night photography possible. Time was when night shooting meant either flash or time exposures!
Been there, done that. 1/20 shutter speed on a makeshift tripod (sitting on platform, back against lamppost, elbows on knees); deliberate motion blur with only sparks, windows and headcode box showing up; and 1000ASA (ISO) film on the underground.

Me too. Grainy results with 1000ASA film though.

Most of them, probably. It will depend on the time of day and which way the light is coming from. I've taken pictures from various platforms at different times and from both the London end and the country end.
