From observations at the eastern end of the route today (1400-2200) they were all lightly loaded. Even trains like the 1700 ex Cambridge, which is currently the first westbound XC train after the 1300, was lightly loaded.
They've not appeared too busy from what I've seen passing my house, although I gather soke journeys have been removed from the timetable recently but not sure if that involves evenings.
Definitely gone much quieter in recent days not surprisingly due to Omicron keeping some people away. The last really busy weekend I seen was 11/12 Dec. Appears weekday loadings have gone quiter too.
It's been about a decade since I last used this service from Peterborough to Stamford around 18:00 or so. Back then it was often rammed on the journey but that might not be the case now.
