  • NOBODY expects the Spanish Inquisition! And what's more - they don't expect them to wish a very happy birthday to you!

Oh, dear, Cardinal Biggles - we're nine days late - oh, damn!
NOBODY expects the Spanish Inquisition! Amongst our weaponry are such diverse elements as: fear, surprise, ruthless efficiency, an almost fanatical devotion to the Pope, and nice red uniforms - Oh damn!

"Nice red uniforms" - it's clear that Virgin Trains East Coast is actually run by Cardinal Ximinez...
    NOBODY EXPECTS THE SPANISH INQUISITION!

Our chief weapon is surprise...surprise and fear...fear and surprise.... Our two weapons are fear and surprise...and ruthless efficiency.... Our *three* weapons are fear, surprise, and ruthless efficiency...and an almost fanatical devotion to the Pope.... Our *four*...no... *Amongst* our weapons.... Amongst our weaponry...are such elements as fear, surprise.... I'll come in again.
You know, I was actually on a VTEC journey on Saturday where there was a gang of men seated who, at one point, recited parts of the cheese shop sketch.

"It isn't much of a cheese shop, is it?"
    'Finest in the district, sir!"
'Explain the logic underlying that conclusion, please."
    "Well it's so clean!"
"Well, it's certainly uncontaminated by cheese."
And then, once you have brought us the shrubbery...you must cut down the mightiest tree in the forest, wiiiiith...A HERRING!
Hey 90019, here a surprise for you... you've not even got ya HGV licence yet but you got an HGV driver coming to you with questions, lol
Ive got a friend of mine who has asked me how to get an HGV licence and how much it costs etc, now needless to say i can give advice but things have changed since i got my HGV in that i done the theory test on my own then went to a driving school, booked a weeks intensive corse, then hey presto, im a fully fledged trucker (kind of, lol ) Obviously now the CPC is involved which i hav'nt done yet but i have no idea how the CPC fits in around a newbie coming into the industry and getting there class 2 licence.
Can you enlighten me how you go about it these days, i was asked about prices, again ive no idea but im gonna guess (hopefully you can confirm either way) that your not gonna get much change out of a grand after all the Theory test, CPC, lessons and test has been paid for?

    Cheers.

    GEARJAMMER (steve)
Haven't been posting much lately, but I saw from the cars thread that you were making progress on the old HGV so well done! :)

My friend in Leeds would be horrified if I didn't approve of the pink wolf!
