    NECTAR Card on TOCs

Thanks for all this I just did a load of bookings via the GWR website, no services were on GWR, they were mainly on Norther & XC and I seem to be getting Nectar points for all sectors. :) They will come in handy off my next Sainsburys shopping.

    NECTAR Card on TOCs

Good morning, Do any trail firms still give Nectar points when booking online,? I know LNER have stopped and I think SWR have too, I thought that GWR & XC used to but can not see any reference on their websites, I may also be using TPE & Northern later this summer if we are allowed to travel...

What Underground journeys can train tickets with cross-London connection be used for?

Thank you for that, overall the journey time going via Wimbledon probably is a bit quicker than carrying on to Waterloo, then getting the Bakerloo over to Paddington, with luggage and lifts, Wimbledon is more convenient in that respect too. I also feel a bit safer cv-wise going on the District...

What Underground journeys can train tickets with cross-London connection be used for?

Sorry to hijack this. If one had a through ticket with the Cross shown from Shepperton to say Worcester or Cardiff, could I travel, on SWR Shepperton to Wimbledon, then District Line Wimbledon to Paddington & GWR onwards for example, Wimbledon does seem to be on that list. ?

Does the West Yorkshire day ticket offer Railcard discounts?

Good Evening, does any one know if there is a day ticket that one can buy at Bradford Foster Square Railway Station? I may need to do a trip, Bradford Foster Square to Saltaire, then Saltaire to Wakefield West Gate via Leeds and LNER on 15 June, with a senior rail card I can do that for £ 5.55...

BRADFORD FSq. To Ribblehead & return Via Saltaire

That's great, thank you, I thought it would all be ok, but could not work out after what time I could travel using the senior railcard. (My friend has a disabled card, would the same time restriction apply to him)? 1621871593 I thought it was a bit odd. :)

Shepperton to Finsbury Park fare query

. 1621063954 I just tried the City Thameslink option as advised above and yes, it works and gave me a fare of £ 8.80. So I shall use that, then as I have to get a return bus journey onwards from Finsbury Park, I can a contactless card to pay on board, (I think now the single fare on the bus is...

Shepperton to Finsbury Park fare query

Good morning, All being well, I hope to travel from Shepperton to Finsbury Park and return the same day on 26 May, I have a senior railcard. Ideally I want to avoid the Underground and was thinking of travelling from Shepperton to Waterloo on SWR, then go across to London Bridge on SER and go...

    LNER Perks

Hi, I just an email from LNER about a "Perks" System, has anyone joined ? I presume it is a bit like the old frequent traveller scheme which then was taken over by nectar, then suspended I think?

Shepperton to Exeter Via Waterloo LSWR Routes

I agree with your latter point here. I am really looking forward to being able to get on a train anywhere. Even just from here up the line to Kingston. I have used the bus sometimes from here to Walton, you have to be careful though, if you don't know the bus stops at Shepperton and Walton...

Shepperton to Exeter Via Waterloo LSWR Routes

Good evening, I am hoping, if we are allowed, to have a couple of nights in Exeter to meet a friend just before Christmas, perhaps Tue to Thurs 15-17 Dec. As I live in SWR land, it makes sense to go on the Waterloo/Exeter Central services, I know GWR may be quicker, but by the time I have gone...

    Buying Senior Railcard

Thanks for the replies, I will try online again in Mid September, I just checked by Local and County Councils, but they don't seem to be as generous as the one mentioned above in the Selby area.

    Buying Senior Railcard

Good Morning, All being well, I shall be 60 in early October and am looking to purchase the Senior Railcard, one of the perks of getting older. I see that it costs £ 30.00 for one year, or £70.00 for 3 years if bought online which I would do. How far in advance can I buy this card, I just...
