The default settings on the screens is still 3 car. So if something has happened on that diagram earlier in the day and it hasn't been updated that's what the screen will display.

    Greggs in Manchester Victoria.

This! I know a lot of people rail against the big brands and say buy local etc. The problem though is quality can be incredibly poor at some of them

2100 merseyrail from chester just vanished?

Again, scheduled to run and indeed ran last night. There was a bit of disruption on its previous journey so I'd suggest it was mistakenly input

2100 merseyrail from chester just vanished?

Still scheduled to run, may just be a mistake. It's happened a few times recently where a service will run but just not appear on any platform cis boards.

Yep it has a frosty mode which warms the shoes where its currently standing.

    Merseyrail again.

Haha you can't say truthful facts like that on this forum!!

    Merseyrail again.

Nope. It's network rails track, the mpv does the de-icing. Merseyrail run empty stocks round the network overnight where possible- this subject to overnight engineering work requirements and driver availability. However after a few incidents in previous years in 3rd rail land of passengers...

    Merseyrail Class 777 introduction updates

Its allowed as the train is now classed as walk through so a second set of doors can be used. On the 50x stock if all doors in one coach were locked out of use then the train was out of service.

    Merseyrail again.

Yeps, the Chester line is always like the afterthought to the Southport. If things go wrong it's actually the New Brightons that get turned short at Birkenhead North and the West Kirbys get sent through.

    Merseyrail again.

    No

    Merseyrail again.

But then if you turn at Hooton there's a potential for Capenhurst stopper to be taken out meaning passengers there would be waiting for an extra 30mins, much worse than 7 or 15 between Hooton and Birkenhead. Whats needed is more turnaround turn at Chester, simple as
  18. J

    Merseyrail again.

With a silly minimal turnaround time at Chester if a Chester train becomes late there's very limited options for returning it to time... A) turn it short somewhere like Birkenhead Central, Rock Ferry, Hooton- this is normally done during a severe delay. B) run it semi fast between a set of...

    Merseyrail platform extensions

Purely for ease of access, the last thing you want to be doing on a train if for example it's packed is fighting through to sort a problem in the back cab.

    Merseyrail platform extensions

In case the driver needs to access the rear cab for fault finding etc
