Was still going early evening, a unit was stuck from early afternoon till at least 1900 on the down relief line at Ealing Bdy which only had about a half hourly down peak service with Elizabeth line running non stop Paddington to Heathrow. The Paddington bound service wasn’t to bad though...

An only going by what seemed to put out yesterday evening, GWR were using the relief lines though, TfL seem to be very poor with info on the Elizabeth line when it’s disrupted.

Overhead line issues for the second day running today around Ealing, doesn’t to be the same place today as yesterday, much disruption to Elizabeth line with down trains running fast Ealing Bdy to West Drayton/Heathrow this afternoon, been a unit stuck at Ealing Bdy for a few hours on the down...

Don’t know about other ticket sellers but when purchasing from DB it states that the whole journey is a single contract (even though they are separate tickets)

The ones at Liverpool Street leave a lot to be desired especially the hand washing facility, sink filthy & dryers seem to not work, but they have variety of wildlife chirping over the PA to cheers us all up

On the Elizabeth line I find amusing or perhaps annoying on Heathrow bound trains is the “Oyster (etc) is not valid beyond West Drayton” which those trains don't serve makes think are you on the right train!

I have seen a few mid/late evening trains arrive at Marks Tey from Sudbury with no passenger on them a number of times

Thanks for the replies, I noticed today the unit concerned (153379) is in the down siding at Manningtree, is it still dud and taken up residence or been out and about since it’s off day?

There was a failure of a Network Rail Test Unit? on the Down main line just East of Manningtree Station today Monday, the unit I assume was a 153 (looked to be when went past it), caused delays of up to 150 minutes to mainline services and the Unit looks to have been stuck for around 6 hours on...

Seem to recall the original plan was that it would not stop at Market Rasen because the platforms & possibly the foot crossing would cost too much to improve, wouldn't be surprised if it routed via Scunthorpe if ever got off the ground

The Station Staff Are no doubt expected to stop access to platform 3 before this service arrives which surely will lead to conflict as regulars will know the service stops and once they are on the platform there is no way they can be stopped from boarding and the previous one from P3 is I think...

Germany doesn’t seem a problem, even on the cheapest tickets bought via the website if you specify a stopover it seems OK
