"Smart" meters spamming from electric supplier

I work for an energy company and this is the biggest load of twaddle I've seen in my 14 years within the energy industry. Firstly, SMETS1 Enrolled and SMETS2 are all managed by the DCC (Data Communications Company) and I can assure it's they are like Fort Knox when it comes to security. If...

    ScotRail Annoucements

Not sure if this has been posted yet or not, but a Twitter user has found the strangest Freedom of Information request ever. Someone has actually FOI'd Scotrail and all 2440 announcements have been released. There some absolute oddities in there and some absolute crackers

    First Greater Glasgow

There’s a few 38 branded MMCs now based at Blantyre.

    Stagecoach East Scotland

I 'think' its 18053 or something close to it.

    Stagecoach East Scotland

I'm assuming the recently transferred B5LH's to Perth have went to Birmingham as well seeing as 3 ALX400s were brought in from Dunfermline (18129, 18130 and 18131 I believe). They didn't hang around long as it looks like they've gone back to Dunfermline.

The onboard announcements have been switched off on both the 18 and 75, so we don't need to hear it every time the bus stops thankfully.

    Ember: Electric coach service

For me personally speaking, the E3 runs a lot later in the evening as well compared to Citylink. Normally I'd be restricted and would have to get the 22:55 M9 from Perth back down to Glasgow. With Ember, they also run right the way through to the early hours of the morning, so I can see them...

    Ember: Electric coach service

I’m currently on the 16:50 E3 from Perth to Glasgow and I must say I’m very impressed. With it being all electric I was fully expecting to hear nothing but whining from the electric motors but it’s very quiet. It’s actually very smooth as well. No overly loud rattles. I’m the only passenger on...

69024 hasn't been in Glasgow for ages. It went to Rotherham then onto Essex.

Trivia: stations from which one can depart on a direct train in opposite directions to the same town/city

If were talking stations as a whole, SPT Subway since it has the Inner Circle and Outer Circle. There's a lot of stations on the old SPT train routes in and around Glasgow as well.

34389 has been tracking on the 21 and 201 over the last couple of days. Just seems to be the only one that's at Blantrye.

Is it not something to do with the old Strathclyde Buses and Kelvin Scottish set up. Happy to be corrected if not.

    First Greater Glasgow

Sadly it's true though. First are becoming the absolute pits when it comes to public transport within Glasgow. Lack of services, no social media updates, mobile app that's horrendous, drivers that have constant attitude problems. If they can't run the services, then maybe they should move...

Does SPT have any authority to tell First to pull their socks up within Greater Glasgow or do they have no authority seeing as the majority of routes are commercial?

    First Greater Glasgow

Is Blantrye having trouble again with staff shortages and/or sickness? The 18 and the 263 have been absolutely chronic this week with buses not turning up. Fully appreciate that Covid is still rampant and putting things down the swanny, but having to wait nearly an hour for an 18 in the...

Impact of Rail Strikes on Bus and Coach Services

I can definitely see the Megabus / Citylink Scottish services being absolutely rammed. The M9 heading Glasgow way in peak time is always nearly full by the time it gets to Perth Broxden and that’s before anyone gets on at Perth. If they are able to, I can definitely envisage dupes being put...

    Scottish Citylink

Let’s just say Cumbernauld are abysmal with their maintenance. I’ve seen load of X76s branded coaches on the 900 because of the ongoing issues with Cumbernauld.

Yeah that used to be the 973.

City Sightseeing Glasgow - OOB 32X

It's West Coast Motors, aka Craig of Campbeltown if you want their correct legal name, that own it.
