In the last decade the Swanage Railway had a 45 minute frequency in summer, and used to have one of the longest operating days of any preserved line, with DMUs well into the evening. Sadly much diminished now.

On further checking it actually seems to be an issue applying the Network Railcard discount. I want a Network railcard discounted off peak day single which should be £16 but Uber only offers the £24.30 full fare. With a senior railcard it correctly offers the £16 fare.

Whichever station I specify I am quoted the higher fare.

Does Omio / Uber struggle with tickets with London Thameslink as the origin? Planning a trip to Flitwick tomorrow and being offered higher fares than on other sites

The Swanage operation was 90 days but the OP is asking about a three day service.

I also had problems using a barcode ticket (issued via the Stagecoach app) on Brighton & Hove and having a TOTO journey triggered due to Express Travel Mode.

Not disagreeing with the thrust of your post, but your list omits the (expensive) Rotherhithe to Canary Wharf ferry, which is due to get a cycle-friendly upgrade soon.

If you have a reservation but choose not to sit in that seat, doesn’t it concern you that you are effectively blocking use of another seat by another passenger (or at least adding to their anxiety by making the uncertain if the seat will remain available if they choose to use it)?
