    Intercity Push/Pull Railtour

I think the online criticism was nefarious to say the least. All I heard on the tour with 9000 was high praise and friendliness. Railtours is a small pond and there is a lack of bookings

    Class 22 New Build

They deserved to fail. Can't believe how much money has been wasted and reputations trashed. Diesel Preservation's lowest blow since D818 then D601 then D1200 then D6319 got chopped. Is there a common theme here? Swindon even cut its 2 preserved Broad Gauge marvels up. Sigh.

Heading into autumn - what next?

Shielding against Covid-19 has had a significant impact on individuals who are clinically extremely vulnerable, according to a report published today. The government identified this group - over four million people - in March 2020 as being at a raised threat from the virus. They were advised to...

The case for and against the effectiveness of face coverings and the mandating of their use

A recent study on PTSD in ITU workers also linked lengthy use of PPE to depression. Staff who spent more than six hours a day in PPE had a 40% increased likelihood of developing depression. Perhaps think MAn in the Iron Mask. think an old medieval punishment/torture called the Scold, which was a...

Time soon to start agrgressively lecturing those pro mask persisters in none reusable masks for destroying the environment after then. No conscience whatsovere. Cos those will be the ones now going off on one every time they see a disabled child who can't wear one. Revenge is a 50, best cold...

More evidence seroprevelance of Sars-CoV-2 has been underestimated

Yes they are quoting 15% admission rate for Covid before vaccines. But they've "forgotten" about all those who had Covid back in MArch 2020 or so. The rate was still overwhelming, but if 10+million or so had it then, the sums simply don't add up. There is the large number of sleeper patients...

Should restrictions be eased fully if Indian Variant case rates do not decline before June 21st?

Many Northerners have now tossed aside Labour forever, even worse than the CabOff, And to back them up, rather than their job of Opposing even more Spineless.

Should restrictions be eased fully if Indian Variant case rates do not decline before June 21st?

Not sure you realise 10million of the more vulnerable have only had half a vaccine. Full hospitals for 12+more months leads to an even longer wait for your new heart valve or hip. Just look at Brazil still 2000 dying a day- a vaccine can really reduce that burden. And no, to me Lockdown is not...

Should restrictions be eased fully if Indian Variant case rates do not decline before June 21st?

Our underfunded, understaffed broken down hospitals can't cope with an extra, and pointless 50000 deaths, and say 200000 unpleasant hospitalisations rather than waiting a month to do their vaccines. Otherwise, Lockdown 5. We still will have to go through a similar horrible wave after vaccines...
