Could the section beneath London Road bridge in Leicester just not be energised?

I must admit that I tend to use lane 2 on the M25 (and keep in it), as so often lane 1 becomes the exit lane for a junction.

Also, as the DVLA remind about car tax, one has to have a valid MOT to get said tax. Anyway, I'm probably digressing... Point is, if there's the will, then folks could be reminded about their railcards.

I gets lots of reminders about my MOT - from RAC, Halfords, etc etc. Also the DVLA reminds me about my car tax. The National Trust reminds me about my membership, home insurance about my, er, home insurance, etc. etc. Is it a deliberate policy NOT to remind those about their railcard?

Unlike the (former) leaders of the Post Office, I wonder if the MDs of TOCs realise that their organisations prosecute their customers for ticketing transgressions?

Bit of a long shot, but I popped down to Whatley Quarry late Saturday (6th) afternoon. Only three locos visible; 59203, 66503 and 66549. Anyone know their previous working into Whatley, and their subsequent working out, please?

That's good. As I mentioned above, it left a minute late - same time as your ticket. Therefore you didn't purchase it after it left. Well that's how I read it...
