First West of England (Bristol, Bath & The West)

With regard to the ex-Aberdeen streetlites, 63204 (at least) has received route branding for the 8. Also, I believe some of the ex-Bristol streetdecks transferred to Weston SM have also been repainted in Badgerline livery (as well as the ex-Yorkshire ones).

    Stagecoach Oxfordshire

I understand from the Stagecoach West thread that new electric buses (Alexander Dennis E400) are due for Oxford. Does anyone have more details about when they are expected to enter service, and on which routes please?

    Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire Bus News

I seem to remember that several years ago, when a normal bus turned up instead of a coach, the driver would issue a ticket for a free ride. Presumably that practice has now ceased.

Also, some 75s turned round there when they put on extras during COVID. From observation, passenger numbers certainly do fall off north of Horfield Common.

Southmead Hospital would be a better option as regards where people want to go, but I would think it might be reaching capacity for terminating buses, especially since the eastern leg of the 10/11 was withdrawn.

I don’t know. If you’re talking about driving, I would imagine it would be the same as any other minibus driver. However they’re not recruiting at present:

Go to the ‘Buses & Coaches’ thread main page and it’s on the right-hand side at the top. But there’s already a ‘Jobs and Careers in the Bus & Coach Industry’ thread in which you could be posting your query.

In the article you’ve linked to they are talking about 10 buses for the 40 and 50, but further down the article there is a reference to 12 electric buses.

Yes, I didn’t find them on ‘Bus Lists on the Web’ first time I looked because in those days the owner was identified as ‘Pickford, Chippenham’. The 811Ds were P324/325 TGS and the E200s are still in the fleet (SN65 OFO/OFP)...
