    Again many thanks for your help forgive me for asking my final question which probably sounds stupid but if I pay ( tap in /out with contactless ( with my bank card and not oyster ) and a ticket inspection occurs on board how do they know I tapped in ? I guess oyster has a record or something...

    I encountered the same problem , if I use my iPhone I cannot choose my seat it says they are unavailable when the seat picker shows they clearly are available , but if I use my PC and go onto the Avanti website I can swap seats without any problem so I think the app is the problem - I can’t see...

    I wouldn’t say it’s very big but it’s big enough , prob best to avoid it at evening peak or chance it and if busy either go royal George which is a few doors down , or go to the Doric arch just on Euston bus station

    Not sure as I went to Captain flinders ( Wetherspoon ) , Mabel’s tavern , royal George , and the pub upstairs on King’s Cross stain , a pint of cider was £4:62 , £6:60 , £6:80 and £6:70 respectively the former being spoons and strongbow the rest were Cornish orchards cider
