    Dangerous boarding procedures at Euston

No, it's really not. There is no ban on the use of technology to any demographic. You'd get thrown of of the solicitors before you got a chance to get thrown out of court.

    Dangerous boarding procedures at Euston

I just use real time trains, get my seat and bag stowed ready for the masses to board after. A couple of times I've been told off by train crew, but I usually travel heavy and on a ticket where if I miss the train, I'm not going anywhere after it because that's all the connections ruined (sail...

How good could the London to Dublin connection be?

An hour in a taxi let's say, two hours at the airport and then 45 minutes on the plane, then the transfer from Dublin airport to Dublin is another hour of messing around... I'd say from north wales the ferry is faster! I do all the sail rails journiee quite often and fly when convenient and if...

How good could the London to Dublin connection be?

Also they voyager runs anyway, for people using intermediate stops and picks up along the way to Holyhead, for those that don't live near an airport and the sail and rail is then genuinely the quickest and cheapest way.

How good could the London to Dublin connection be?

Try booking for tomorrow, the rail fare doesn't change, the airline fares do! I'm currently typing this from the train doing the London to Rosslare journey.

Sail Rail Ticket - they seem completely unavailable now and I need one for May 23rd!

I have been on the phone with them, even with escalations, they seemed friendly enough but pointed me to telesales in the end. They said they couldn't help me, the telesales team were down right rude :( And yes the point of that train is indeed to connect with the ferry, they even run it as an...

Ah this will be the problem in, for the sake of one minute. I may just book a standby ticket for the same days date and hope for the best! Thank you.

Sail Rail Ticket - they seem completely unavailable now and I need one for May 23rd!

As in the title, There are no booking engines that can sell me a Sail Rail ticket from PAD to Rosslare Europort for May 23rd for the day time sailing. It's not that they are sold out, I am told as the standby ticket should be still available. Anybody have any knowledge?

Crossrail - Through Running confirmed for November

I got my video all recorded, edited and uploaded today. Weather was certainly against us, but the Elizabeth line ran well enough. I was on that first train heading westbound, enjoyed it apart from some mouthy kids!

Barking Riverside Extension - What should happen next?

The only problem with this now is that the headways are so short with freight, c2c and LO that making freight wait will only delay later trains when the freight needs to go again. The time it takes to accelerate a freight train up to speed, the headway between it and the following service...

"Covid rising in England" - let's stop the fear mongering

I'd be very concerned if you caught monkeypox in day to day life. Mainly it is caught through intimate contact and the sharing of bodily fluids. Unless you go around touching people as a habit, you probably won't be catching it!

Barking Riverside Extension - What should happen next?

NO, I'm not sure, hence my use of the word probably to indicate some doubt. But it seems the logical next step when compared to demolishing a brand new station and viaduct - imagine the media on that one!
