I went from Kettering to Leicester on Tues 9th April on 15.22 train. This off peak train was surprisingly busy. Trains at Leicester were also busy. Meanwhile the Birmingham-Leicester route in my opinion is much busier than it's ever been during weekend and in the week too getting busy.

Very interesting none of the top 3 teams won this weekend in the Championship and none of them won midweek too so still no clear winner yet. In fact Leeds and Ipswich haven't won in 3 games and us Leicester not won in 2. What is going on?

Ipswich lost away at their local derby rivals Norwich today, Leeds lost away at Coventry and we won at King Power today so we are back at the top by 1 point with a game in hand and 13 pts clear of 4th place Southampton who have 2 games in hand one of which is us!

This is a decent sized store with its own car park and some year's ago used to be a Safeway store but was sold off due to been competition concerns (Safeway was bought by Morrison's who have a large store in nearby Bulwell)

Just boarded a train at Leicester. The African man in the gangway (1st coach at front) way playing very loud music , the driver came out so tell him to turn it down. This is to be applauded.

In fact a 2 car TFW 150 only has about 62 less seats (both exclude tip ups) than a 4 car 231 so capacity wise not very efficient the 231s of course there is more standing room on them.

We're still 1st in the Championship table after our win at Watford today. Not best game but still 3 points though. Ipswich drew 2-2 so helps us all in the top 4.

I agree completely. My other half always says there's worse teams than them and they won't go down. After their 10 point deduction they didn't take many games to get those points back (if it wasn't for the deduction they'd be 12th!!). Luton seem to be playing well and deservedly should stay up.

While short forms appear to be happening on Liverpool-Nottingham-Norwich services it seems a waste to use a 3 car 170 on the Skegness route in winter.

No 323s have been replaced yet by 730s as the 730s have to date only replaced the 319s out of Euston so yes short forming and maybe tightening up diagrams.
