    I have used the ALR to travel on the Highland Chieftan from Kings Cross to Inverness and return next day to travel to Newquay Cornwall and used the Spirit of Scotland on a separate trip to explore Scotland.The Highland line and Far North line are well worth doing

    Yes excellent show well worth the trip from Warrington.Hornby probably ducked out of attending the show to avoid answering any awkward questions about their price increases and new model delays.I am still waiting on a preorder for a Scotrail class 153 more than a year ago!
