Oh yeah the ticket barrier thing was a miracle haha. None of us expected to go through. I've done Redhill to Tonbridge a few times but only ever in the dark so I've no idea really. I've done the North Downs Line from Reading only as far as Blackwater so I'll have to do the rest sometime.

Oh yeah looking forward to all the inevitable via Barnham and Horsham trips in the pipeline. The ticket barrier thing was amazing and I can't get over it either.

As long as you have your legs and arms covered you'll most likely be fine. They usually wait on ferns and low bushes around knee/leg height. Just be careful and wary.

Hope they do, you breathe in half of London's pollution down there.

That doesn't surprise me, the refurbishment is probably being rushed as per with GTR. I'm just glad they're renovating the infrastructure and features along there.

Northern City Line changes? On 22nd July 2019 I visited London with a friend and we travelled the majority of the line between Finsbury Park and Old Street with brief shack clearances at Drayton Park and Highbury & Islington (sadly not Essex Road as then I would've completed the entire line)...
