18 plate e400mmc on the L1 today, First time I’ve ever seen a 18 plate on the route

I think that was true. I do remember an hourly service from Penzance to Helston. I never really used the U4 to Falmouth as Helston was my last stop, but the bus did head back to Helston after its visit to Tesco.

The U4 from Penzance to Helston does have a good loading. The stretch from Helston to Falmouth is good but usually if you have any passangers after Helston they will be going to Falmouth as there isn’t much loading in the smaller villages.

I miss read the post and it's clear now, sorry. 33421 is now tracking on the L5 so is definitely not a e500, wouldn't want that on those somewhat small roads.

Will Cornwall get any of the east lancs tridents, or will these go to Somerset?

33420 / 21 have tracked this morning on routes, I wonder if these were e500s instead?

If they did use the spare Mousehole buses, I think going down the one way street and coming back down the main road by the arms pub would be the ideal way. Image shows potential route. (Or even an express trip over to St Michael Mount by bus.)

If I remember correctly, the Truro college to hayle/ St ives used to have 2 buses. So would be suited to a e500

Does that now mean when the Sps buses go past the maximum age limit they will be cascaded to other First bus areas?

With the Enviro 500 starting operation soon which routes do you think they will operate. I am thinking the obvious ones are the T1 to Truro College and a U1 from falmouth to Truro College. Maybe even a L1 as this requires more then 1 bus, but would be fun around mullion.

When I used the U4 pre covid it was above 75% capacity if not more leaving penzance at 2:45, 3:45 with most people getting of at helston. The other times were busy but the lunch time U4 was also dead when I got it.

Helston is having a big issue with diesel for cars, so the Buses must be having issues soon.
