Edit: how are NR "encouraging" fare evasion? Its no different to the retail sector where security staff (or police) wait outside the shop for suspected shoplifters to exit to ensure a concrete case for prosecution (if needed)

The ticket seller could easily of asked if you had a ticket from A to B that is true, but it would of been just as easy for the passenger to show the ticket when asked to do so in the first place.

Was there no option to use a debit card? I do agree however that it is very inflexable to have to have present the payment card. Alot can happen between when you buy the ticket to when you use it such as theft, damage and loss.

As I said, if you are that bothered then why not raise it with the TOC concerned?

Hello all, If say I purchased a day travel card to London (from Ipswich) via NXEA, would this also be valid on any or most of the London Overground routes on the NLL or do I need a seperate travel card for overground?
