    Diss doesn't count as you can't get into the down platform from the up road without reversing. Like wise you can't depart the down platform onto the up road without reversing which is prohibited with in service passenger trains.

    You may well be right, but I always thought that the most restrictive aspect is placed as close to drivers eye level as possible? Obviously the Red is in the middle to break up the two Yellows but I'd expect the single Yellow and double Yellow to work like any other signal?

    If you mean the penultimate signal then the single Yellow will be the bottom aspect, Red aspect in the middle and *another Yellow aspect at the top for the double yellow. *or possibly Red at bottom, Yellow in middle and Green up top depending on signalling arangements. Very last signal...
