Looking to go from Orpington to Tonbridge, and return Sevenoaks to Orpington. Can I just get a Orpington to Tonbridge return (£7.25), or do I need 2 singles?

Is there a reason why SWR long-distance trains you cant reserve a seat? Travelling from London to Weymouth is 3 hours which seems silly not being able to reserve a seat when London - Birmingham is half the time!

How much more would I have to pay if the current off-peak travelcard is £19.45 (with a network railcard)? The Lewes - Victoria off-peak return is £14.85, plus tube return is £5.40, totaling £20.25.

How will this affect me? If I'm going for a day out in London from Lewes I buy an off-peak travelcard (Lewes to Zones 1-6 for £26.95). What do I do now?

I had this problem at Earlswood. I tweeted Southern who told me to buy a ticket on their app which I couldn't as the train was too near time of departure. So I bought a ticket for the next train and got on the one I was waiting for. At East Croydon I just showed my purchase at the ticket counter...

I was wondering if the 18:30 cutoff is entry or exit? Say i enter the tube at 18:25 and exit at 18:40. Will I be liable for a penalty fare?

Surely this is discriminatory if disabled people cant use their railcard?

According to NR I can get free travel on TFL services. But does that including the Elizabeth line from Reading into Paddington as that's not technically in a London zone?

Unfortunately my backpack is in 88 x 39 x 36cm. Their luggage policy is 63 x 41 x 27cm. They staff did not offer me to pay to bring it onboard s excess luggage. IMO on the Trainline it's not clear as it's buried in the T&Cs. But to their credit, on the Lumo website it is very clear.

I was going to travel from London to Edinburgh for some hiking and camping. I booked my ticket through Trainline where there was no mention of a luggage limit. I was carrying a 65L backpack with all my gear. The Lumo staff told me I could not board the train as it was bigger then their limit. So...

I've been looking to go on days out with the family in the summer, to places on the Southern network like Southampton, Portsmouth, Brighten, Lewes, Hastings etc. Off-peak returns are about £30 to £50. But I've just come across the Southern Daysave, which is £22. is that a loophole of some kind?

Abbey Wood to Reading off-peak is £26.60 for a paper ticket but £13.90 for contactless. Is that correct? I'd hate to have to register my credit card with TFL.

According to the TFL journey planner there's no route, but on their website there's no engineering work affecting that line? So it is running or not?

Not trains but buses, hopefully this is in the correct forum. With the Hopper fare, you cannot have a break in the journey. Say one takes a bus, train then bus, with both buses within an hour. Can one use 2 separate cards (one for bus and one for train), to get the hopper fare?
