I guess because Southeaster sometimes divert via East Croydon to Charing Cross (like last weekend), the drivers have route knowledge. Do Southern drivers have route knowledge of the Southeastern route?
It's funny seeing everyone confused at East Croydon trying to go to London Bridge. The best place to sit seems to be at the end of each 4-car as people think it's 1st class as in the Southern 377s.
What’s the reason these are diverted via Croydon, on their website there’s no mention of any engineering works?
Maldonado curious how many of their drivers sign this route?
What are the frequency of Thameslink services compared with Southeastern on this line? Looking to get a Thameslink service from London Bridge - Greenwich return during a weekday.
I see. i wonder what other situations are like that ... when a train leaves a station before another, but the 2nd train overtakes the 1st one (and they have the same calling pattern).
This keeps happening and is very annoying. The 0804 left at 0806 and passed Selhurst at 0811. The 0808 left on time but passed Selhurst at 0810. So my train (the 0804) was further delayed waiting for the 0808 to pass. As a British person who queues this is a bit irksome.

Very concerning as I'm sure millions of people that travel to watch the London fireworks use Victoria. Looks like there will be major overcrowding at London Bridge and people will find it physically impossible to get home.
Sometimes trains from East Croydon to Victoria come in on both platform 1 and 4 which minutes of each other. I wait on the overbridge and have to run down the stairs to whichever comes in first as the announcements are useless. But even so, if my train leaves first it is often made to wait by...
IMO there is less passenger capacity from East Croydon to Victoria. The 0724, 0728, 0738 are 8 coaches. The 0734, 0745 are 12 coaches. Before the change, trains during that period where all 12 coaches (0714?, 0732, 0739, 0742 and 0745).
