Man arrested at Liverpool Central over ticket row won't face prosecution

Would Merseyrail even have his details to do so? BTP would not typically provide details of someone unless they have provided consent.

Chiltern Recovers £400,000 of Evaded Revenue

Chiltern Railways advertised on their social media earlier today about how they are launching a new campaign against fare evasion, complete with pictures of new vinyls they have installed at stations with messages such as “Are you a fare dodger?” printed on mirrors in station toilets, and “No...

Chiltern Recovers £400,000 of Evaded Revenue

Is this not just as a result of Chiltern having guards on their routes north of Banbury but not on their multiple units south thereof, or are they RPIs?

Train CCJ fine ~£800. Any help navigating this would be much appreciated

I'm struggling to work out what exactly has happened here. If you had an open return then this would be valid on any train, and thus why would you cancel and then attempt to re-book? You mention in your subject a CCJ but it is very unusual for civil action to be taken in such circumstances; in...

Got caught touching in on exit gates for over a year

This is not correct. If you touch in and out then you would still accrue some sort of charge, and failure to settle the debt in the instance where the account associated with the cards does not have sufficient funds, after a while will see the card blocked for entry. It is quite clear from the...

Got caught touching in on exit gates for over a year

Those replies are probably referring to outdated knowledge and / or practices at locations to where it does not apply. If you search through TfL’s FOIs for “contactless denied exit,” you can see that a change was made a little under two years ago in order to recoup lost revenue from blocked...

Got caught touching in on exit gates for over a year

As far as I can see, all relevant information is already prevented upstream in the thread, once people have either gotten it out of the OP, or worked it out themselves. There are no technical limitations, the customer is failing to touch in (as it would be rejected owing to debt owed). They...

    Single justice procedure notice HELP!!!

Ital have been in this line of work for well over a decade now, either directly, or through one of their trading names such as Ircas or AS Appeals Service. Reading threads on this forum where posters have provided applicable paperwork it seems that Ital have been handling cases for CrossCountry...

    Single justice procedure notice HELP!!!

Why are people advising the OP to contact TIL? As per the letter the OP has attached, it appears this is being dealt with by Ital Group Ltd rather than TIL.

Caught using my Freedom pass before 0930

ln the past the OP has said to have been commuting from the Croydon area so it is possibly more likely that they were stopped by an lnspector on GTR services, if indeed this incident happened at all.

LNER refusing to book wheelchair assistance for tickets bought on TrainSplit

No, the outward leg is on LNER, but I haven’t mentioned the journey details as it is irrelevant. I’m pleased to say, LNER have almost sorted it following escalation. However they have firstly booked assistance for today (15 May), not the date of travel. They have then booked us onto the wrong...

LNER refusing to book wheelchair assistance for tickets bought on TrainSplit

Yes, but the outward leg is not in dispute as TrainSplit has booked a single ticket.

LNER refusing to book wheelchair assistance for tickets bought on TrainSplit

Normally when booking assistance you only have to do it once, regardless of what Toc you are travelling with. I’ve always done it with whomever operates the outbound journey. It’s a bit frustrating to have to duplicate work because of the incompetence of LNER staff. As above, once LNER closes my...

LNER refusing to book wheelchair assistance for tickets bought on TrainSplit

The leg that is the problem is on Hull Trains, it is a through train from Kings Cross to Doncaster. I stated this in the OP. LNER are refusing to book assistance as they say it does not meet the minimum connection time, although there is no need to connect there as it is merely a split ticket.

LNER refusing to book wheelchair assistance for tickets bought on TrainSplit

This is correct. I’m not sure what is the confusion here? 1684133477 Yes, LNER is the main operator on the outbound journey.

Not travelling on Lner on this leg. 1684133212 No, this ticket has been sold this ticket to travel on a HT service.

LNER refusing to book wheelchair assistance for tickets bought on TrainSplit

As stated in the OP; the outbound journey primary operator is LNER. 1684123338 That is the form I’ve already completed, I can’t go back and fill it again as they have already opened a case. 1684124438 I will give this a try when my case at Lner is closed, I’ve asked them to refer it to a...

LNER refusing to book wheelchair assistance for tickets bought on TrainSplit

I have recently bought a ticket through TrainSplit which TrainSplit has done a split ticket with an Advance from Kings Cross to Retford and a TPx+HT SDS from Retford to Scunthorpe. As the person travelling is a wheelchair user which requires the wheelchair space reserved and staff to deploy...
