There is a significant amount of the queue just before it reaches the end that is a maze queue.

Albert Bridge is to the west; the queue once it has crossed the river at Lambeth Bridge will actually be coming from the east.

It depends on the schedule. If the train is booked to stand for a period of time at a location, the crew relief might be at the arrival time, around the departure time, or any time in between.

Back in 2005, Central Trains (as was) ran 10 car 150s on their services between Birmingham and Cardiff when there were major events on.

More people go to London to watch the fireworks from areas outside the official viewing area than have a ticket to go into the official viewing area. Similarly, a great number go nowhere near the firework displays from the river!
