70809 Network Rail Engineering Train at Horsforth, Leeds today

Is there a renewal site between Horsforth and Leeds? Did that train come via York or had it done Leeds - Harrogate Run round earlier?

Duff Delight: 47847 leading 4D94 to Hull

Has the banking alongside been removed recently? I don't remember the cess being that wide at that point when I last worked on the track in that area. Or is it a legacy of the bridge works for the new access road to Melton Ind estate.

Bodysnatchers From Hull: 57315 and 57316 head ECS back to Carnforth

Nearly had me confused there. Initially I thought why would a train from Hull be going past Melton, thinking near Scunthorpe? Then realised you meant Melton Lane LC which can be seen in the background. You where on Lowfield crossing near the end of the old cement works run round.

If your driver does it again, tell him to watch out for the ditch on the right at the corner about 100yds ahead, it has caught a number of people and nearly got me when I was working down there.
