Exchanging almost year old faulty goods with credit card statement but no recepit.

I rarely buy shoes from anywhere else now. Even my walking boots, came from Ecco. They cost enough but are great.

Indeed it is and the person I was chatting to is a duel Dutch & South African citizen.

Exchanging almost year old faulty goods with credit card statement but no recepit.

Thanks I will look into it. 1713020866 All sorted. They accepted my credit card statement. I had fun trying to print it as I'd not used my existing printer with my new laptop yet and my black ink cartridge ran out. I do manual refills. That was straight forward at least and eventually I got...

Exchanging almost year old faulty goods with credit card statement but no recepit.

On 15 April 2023 I purchased some shoes for £150. I can even see in my Google Maps timetable when I was in the shop. The shoes didn't last a year as they split at the bottom. I went in this morning to enquire about getting some more as I like them. When I showed the shoes, I was told they...

    Passport Rules

I was discussing duel citizenship and passports with some people recently and someone said when they return to either country they are a citizen of, they need to show the passport from that country so they always need to have an up-to-date passport in both countries if travelling to or from...

    Cloudflare error

When I get them, I take a screenshot and copy the text. I then post the screenshot and text to Facebook, in a photo album entitled Web hosting errors. I also have other photo albums for technical messages in unexpected places; technology messages in unexpected places; SQL in unexpected places...

A scam phone calls and emails discussion.

I had a random WhatsApp phone call the other day which I declined as I didn't know the number. It was from Mali. No idea if it was a scam but I wasn't going to answer.

(Reasonable) Features you'd like to see implemented on RailUK Forums

Thanks. I'm not a regular user of Avanti as I usually take longer; slower and cheaper routes and services. This is thanks to this forum and Trainsplit, in equipping me with the knowledge I needed to seek these out. And yes I do book on the Rail UK Web site. Of course, I have read about Avanti...

It would be useful if their was a page explain the forums points system for violations and what amount of points would equal a ban. With regards to marking sub-forums as read, I wasn't aware this could be done and despite mostly using my mobile, I've never actually done this, fortunately.

Royal Mail Sunday deliveries and the future of Saturday letters

A friend got my Christmas card around the start of this month. They live in Oxford. I'd posted it second class in the middle of December. He said it looked as if it might have been in a flood so I declared it must have gone by flood class. My parents, in Haywards Heath, had bad post before...

Rail enthusiasts who are a bit famous for another reason - current and historical

Does the Rev Awdury count or is this parish work not famous enough? Certainly a local celebrity in his parish. He wrote The Railway Series. Wasn't Prince Albert keen on steam trains back in his day?

    Brexit matters

If only more people who wan5es to remain braved the weather. I do remember one person saying am I doing the right thing. My presiding officer said we can only help you in hoe to vote but not how you vote. I think that summed it up for me. Some people were torn. Not all but some were. No idea...

    Brexit matters

Funnily enough the lead singer/guitarist, Francis Rossi, from the band Status Quo actually didn't vote as he thought it would be fordrawn conclusion and we would remain. Oops as he didn't want to leave. I voted in advance to remain and on the day worked a very busy polling station, which...

(Light-Hearted) Worst-Targetted Ads on This Forum & Elsewhere

Personally I prefer relevant ones but not ones that are annoying. Recently I saw a sponsored post on Facebook for a concert at G Live that I thought had sold out. Obviously had some returns. I got a ticket. That's useful and relevant. I would like more of that more widely. I also like ones for...

(Light-Hearted) Worst-Targetted Ads on This Forum & Elsewhere

That reminds me of the back pain ads I was getting on Facebook. As someone who has ankylosing spondylitis, a type of arthritis, I will stick to seeing my rheumatologist and the drugs I am on. Eventually I got bored of the ads to had them hidden. A friend had a badly targes tampax advert on...

    Have you any irrational fears?

Not sure if these are irrational but I have a fear of anything suddenly coming towards me. So if a ball is going over my head, I don't like it. If can be any sudden unexpected movements towards me close by. When I was aged between about 5 to 7, I got hit on the side of the head by a stray...

The time when I could do without auto merge is on the National Routing Guide changes thread. When a new addition it made it takes me to the top of the auto-merged post and I tend up reading stuff I already read before I had to the new section, which Kieron helpfully does date to make it clear...

Name one of your top priority?

I didn't know about this. I actually want to watch Parliament sometime but do I want to take a day off work to do so. I'm like you, although perhaps worse, as my interests extended to music as well.
