I think BBC Verify, should verify their claims but whenever I've asked BBC Verify to verify some claim, it never gets taken up and verified.

I was thinking more from trains being switched from diagrams with loos to those without but I realise now that in this case it is trains without loos going to ones with loos. I.E. 455s to 458s.

You are right. I checked. It has gone for a 5 car 458/5 to a 4 car 450.

I've not followed all of this thread so it nay have been answr4ed in post X, but when the 701 were being procured, were any drivers and guards involved in the process? After all they would be the ones using it day in, day out.

It will be interesting to see if people walk through the 701s to the front once they are running with a crowded train, most likely during the peaks.

Were you referring to a different post regarding Waterloo? My comment was only on Wimbledon. The fully walkable trains of yhe class 701 will definitely be good. I am the sort of person, who will join a train at the back, if it is about to leave and then walk towards the front to get a seat...

Definitely isn't. No loos on board. I remember when there was work being done to the 455s and 450s had to be used on the New Line Guildford. I overheard someone comment on how posh they were. Now when you consider commuters from Portsmouth don't like the 450s but prefer the 444s, that says...

I do think Dorking West, being step-free would be nice hourly. Dorking Depdene isn't step free. 769s timetable wouldn't have changes this though.

If the 769s had gone into service would that have led to fewer trains needing repairs at the same time than usual and fewer services cancelled? Or would a high-frequency timetable, had the original plan occurred, meant that there still would have been data where more trains needed repairs at the...
