When I was in Cannock in October, I'm sure there were some other older ex Shires Eclipses knocking about. Had they gone before the final transfer?

The ex Shires B7RLEs remained in use for the final day of Arriva operations at Cannock and are due to be reallocated in the Arriva Midlands / Shires business it's understood. One note is in order to tidy the sale of Cannock beforehand, 3906 returned from Milton Keynes to Cannock (3900-5 remained at Milton Keynes after been on loan from Cannock) with 3932 going the other way.

I think it would be reasonable to say the likes of 3927-31 would be expected to return to the Shires where the concentration of B7RLEs are but we will have to see.

One of the ex Shires B7RLEs it should be noted was processed for scrap to one of the Barnsley dealers in the months leading to the sale.

I noticed D&G are withdrawing from some Cannock depot services in Staffordshire and these are immediately being taken up by Select Buses; are these two companies now part of the same group ? Are vehicles transferring too ?

Centrebus owns D&G, whereas Centrebus owner Julian Peddle owns a bit of Select. Not a hundred percent sure but I think it's that

Yes that's correct, Julian is also listed as a 'company director' on Companies House from August 2015 as part of his partial ownership. Note that Chaserider and Select ticketing form the same network and ticket acceptance.

Notable is Chaserider around the same time as Select take on the 9/875/875A from Chaserider's current 6/9/75/75A, Chaserider are taking on some of the D&G routes in Stafford that is operated from Adderley Green. The 841 Stafford to Uttoxeter is a good example and the revival of the former (in Arriva Stafford depot days) 432 Stafford to Eccleshall, been demerged from a 14 Hanley to Stafford via Eccleshall.

Just looked at the new Chaserider website and whilst it's pretty basic, it does display what appear to be uptodate timetables. A map would be useful however.

I also checked the Arriva website for services in Telford and Shrewsbury. Not only is the list of routes for Shrewsbury incorrect - #1 goes to Telford Estate (a residential area of Shrewsbury) not Telford Town Centre - but strangely, every time I clicked the link to a timetsable I got error#404. Does anyone know if this is just a problem with the website or whether something more interesting is happening?

Some ex Arriva buses transferring to Select along with the routes, not sure how this works under rules between individual businesses, but a number of DAF SB200 Wright Commanders are now shown in Select fleet operating the ex Chaserider/Arriva routes.
