Route 9 and 15 were still operating the original Routemaster until replaced by the new routemaster.
That's not correct. They were operated by Volvo B7TL and E400H respectively before being replaced by NRMs.

If you're referring to the 9H and 15H these were both withdrawn without replacement.

Lost somewhere within Bank-Monument tube station,
It's a bit interesting that Tower Transit have never operated the Borismaster, even during the days when they had a high profile Zone 1 route which would have accommodated them in the form of the 25/N25. Guessing the enormous PVR at the time (something ridiculous like 60 B9TLs from Lea Interchange) might have been a contributor.

I don't think any of their Westbourne Park routes could take them, they wouldn't have got round the 23, 31 or 452's routings at the time, and the 13 and 328 had just taken new B5LHs.

9H stopped when New Routemaster came into service in 2014, 15H only more recently ended.

The New Routemasters were introduced on route 9 in 2013.

Article dated 12 August 2013 said:
The next two London bus routes to be converted to Borismaster operation have been named. They are the 9, operated by London United and running from Hammersmith to Aldwych, and the 390, run by Metroline between Notting Hill Gate and Archway. The 9 has a peak requirement of 22 buses and will be converted on 26 October.
