I am spotting on the Chiltern Main Line soon and I am wondering whether the 68 diagrams are still the same as Pre-Covid workings or are they currently altered, Thank You

That is certainly what would be implied if there is only one hauled diagram.are the rest booked to be units?

The only reason to use the hauled sets in normal times is for capacity. I'd imagine that the only reason to use them at the moment is to maintain traincrew competency.
Thank you for that, it looks like I could then get the 11.10 from MYB, have about an hour in Brum, just enough time to get a sarnie and come back on the 13.55. 68 both ways. From next Monday, weekdays only:

Perhaps worth mentioning that diagram 2 runs off to Wembley depot between 1H45 and 1K50, and sets are often swapped at that time, so maybe Diagram 2 should read 2A and 2B.
The day's programmed work might well be split into two separate diagrams, i.e.Still only one diagram. A diagram is the programme of a days planned work so in this case 2 x units may be allocated at different times through the day but still only one diagram
The day's programmed work might well be split into two separate diagrams, i.e.
1) 1H17 / 1R21 / 1H45 / 5H45 / Maintenance.
2) Maintenance / 5K50 / 1K50.
You would need to see the original paperwork to be sure.
You can't split a days work into 2 diagrams. 1 Diagram per day.

You miss understand how the railway diagrams rolling stock, a ‘diagram’ is how a block of work is allocated to either traincrew or rolling stock. Many operations have diagrams where that block of work doesn’t complete a full day.
I have been a diagrammer myself, diagramming both units and crews.
In which case you will understand cyclical diagramming requires a certain amount of time on depot for maintenance windows (which on some stock like IETs may be a specified amount of time on depot), that needs to be diagrammed as a block of work in the same way that passenger trains need to be diagrammed.
In the Chiltern case the diagrams are 3 trips then maintenance, with another diagram being maintenance then a single trip. There is insufficient time for the maintenance activity to occur between the 3rd and 4th passenger trip. That is why it is two diagrams and you will see different loco and stock covering the evening departure from Marylebone.
Whilst in many cases planned maintenance is carried out overnight that is not always the case.
I know. I think there is just a matter of interpretation. We can split the OPs post details into two separate diagrams instead of A & B
diagrams
It’s rarely a problem as the majority of stock usually cycles via its Home Depot, just with the reduced service the sets have to be somewhat forced to go onto Wembley!
