5 rakes of 365's stabled in Peterborough Nene Sidings today, I think they're all pairs.

3 of the 5 country end units are 516, 520 & 540.

Will try to ID some others tomorrow when I should have more time.

As far as my sources go which are pretty reliable, the following should be in pairs as they were upon arrival at Peterborough Nene Sidings however they are subject to change if they've been shunted around.

365516/365524
365520/365522
365540/365506
356534/365502
365508/365518

I hope that answers your question?

Thanks for this.

Do any members know the identity of the 365 unit that left Hornsey today behind 37800 on its way to Ely Papworth Sidings?

Realtime Trains - 534X 1134 Hornsey E.M.U.D. to Ely Mlf Papworth Sidings

I managed to get a photo of the train between Brookmans Park and Welham Green but was too far away to id the unit.

Many thx.
Most certainly was 365528 lovely video at Alexander Palace.
Also where was 365534 is now this arrived on Monday from with 365502. However 365534 has now took its place so looking like 365534 is next.
Full on throttle sound and exhaust.

365534 was last logged paired with 365502 yesterday not Monday as you incorrectly stated with the diagram finishing at Peterborough Nene Carriage Holding Sidings at 19:31.

Also just to state that no Class 365s were diagrammed today on any workings be it in passenger or non passenger use.

365534 and 365502 was paired together on Monday and worked through Alexander Palace around 1250 on a vstp diagramm from Peterborough Nene sidings to hornsey E.M.U.D Depot ie known as very short term planning diagramm.
However today from a bay siding at hornsey E.M.U.D Depot 365528 was removed from its place and is now in store at ely Papworth.
However where 365528 was earlier on today. 365534 single on it's own is now there.

That's unusual. Any idea why?
I don't know why but my sources only highlighted that the last known working of any 365s was yesterday to Peterborough Nene Carriage Holding Sidings which were 365534/365502, other then that I don't know. Sorry I can't be of more help.

That's the only passenger working both are diagrammed for today too, such a difference from a few years ago when the entire fleet was in passenger service.

Hope the 365s are not all gone before Sunday!
They are still planned to be in service until the may timetable change.
I dont think they will be out this Sunday as there are major engineering works in the Hitchin area,

I don’t think they are going to operate on any more sundays (unless for substitution for a train fault, I suppose).

I was under the impression that LGX is the major project this weekend, or are the Hitchin works additional?

Either way round, Great Northern will be operating St Neots to Peterborough shuttles, be interesting to know which stock that is.

Many thanks. CWN is a new one on me - what does it stand for, and what is it / does it do? Cheers

Carriage Working Notice.

Basically lists out the series of trains each unit forms. So at (say) King Cross it lists each departing trains, which type of units are booked to run the service, and what inward train it is formed from.

Also will contain details on any splitting/joining required or other activities (e.g. topping up toilet tanks etc)

The TL/GN CWN also contains all the driver's diagrams and relief points as well, it is the most informative CWN produced for any TOC.
GTR also produces a bumper CWN called COMBO STOCKBOOK which covers the whole of the SN/TL/GN/GX area, this includes the CWN and all the unit diagrams and drivers diagrams for the lot.
The SX version is about 2,000 pages.

Thanks Ianno87, LA50041 and Triumph. Very informative responses.

Given it's function, I'm surprised I hadn't come across it before. I'd have thought it would get referred frequently in the 'allocations, diagrams and timetables' forums, but I've just searched for CWN, and its most recent mention prior to this was Feb '19!
