Are 450s and 458s able to work in multiple? According to Real Time Trains the 1420 Waterloo to Reading is a 450+458 combo, or is it just an error on Real Time Trains? Never know this to happen!
That will be an error in the data feed - with 458502+450076. The data feed just shows what is allocated and presumably both got allocated but only one will be working. The erroneous pairing is shown for the whole diagram starting with 2C10 Reading to London Waterloo. Are 450s and 458s able to work in multiple? Thought as such. Thanks for the explanation. That will be an error in the data feed - with 458502+450076. The empty working for 2C10, 5C10 0503 Staines C.H.S. to Reading, is shown on RTT as 458531+458502, so I assume this pair is on the working you identified.
450010+450076 are shown working the next service, 2C12 0611 Reading to London Waterloo.
Someone has just keyed the wrong numbers by the looks of things. I suspect the issue could be the the 450s spent last night at Reading and the 458s came from Staines - possibly there was a plan for the 450s to work the first service but they got put on the second.
