Unsure if it’s just coincidence but certainly pre-COVID on the Metro routes off peak, I noticed that the 376s would be concentrated far more on Cannon Street services, with only a couple out of Charing Cross and the rest Networkers
That would make sense if the 376s were used on the "loop" services via Greenwich, Slade Green and Sidcup, especially as Woolwich Dockyard can only take 10 cars.

There's was barely any 12-car Networker services on the Woolwich dockyard line anyway due to a lack of rolling stock with SDO. Maybe one service a day? The rounders could still have been 8 or 10-car 465/466.

Whatever happened to twelve coach 465 trains? As i remember seeing twelve coach 465 trains quite a few years ago but i have not seen any such formations for many years now? Are there still any twelve coach 465 workings anywhere on the Southeastern network? Or do these no longer exist?

They’re a pain operationally because of limited places where they can operate. Platforms 1 - 3 only at Charing +, can’t stop at Woolwich Dockyard or most of the Chatham mainline stations etc. Hence even pre Covid they were relatively few and far between.

They also only really have about as much crowd busting capacity as a 10 car 376 due to the number of seats in Networkers.

Many thanks! I must just be in the wrong places at the wrong times! Any idea where they are generally found currently? Is it only on certain routes and only in peak times?
Every 2Mxx Charing X to Dartford via Bexleyheath is a 12 car from 1627 to 1957 I believe.

As well as limited operational capacity mentioned further up, for a while there's not been enough stock to form 12 cars in peak time service without compromising other services. You can also only form them from 3x465s, as IIRC 2x465s + 2x466s is slightly too long from the extra cabs involved. While strictly not SE, Thameslink don't send their 12 car 700s down to Rainham, while they have SDO, they don't serve Woolwich Dockyard anyway.

Presuming that they are having the weekends off duty where are they usually stabled over the weekend?

Partimespotter report 707001 & 707029 is use with SouthEastern today

Their inactivity with SWR would suggest that 707014 & 707019 may be next? (the other 12 707s with SWR have been in use within the last few days)

The image is the icon for the whole site.
It's not possible to have a different image per post I'm afraid.

How many there now?
My spies tell me they look very nice in their new livery.
They've scrubbed up nicely inside as well.

SE are using the side displays to their full potential, showing all calling points, updating as the train progresses.

Is this correct? Or is it a mistake regarding 001/029 :)

I saw a 707 on Southeastern duties in its SWR colour scheme last week. Hadn't realised they were letting them out to run around before the repaints/rewraps.
