Poor night on the telly, so I started wondering about collective nouns for railway workers, and came-up with the following [some rather obvious, I'm afraid]:-

a grip of RPIs;
a chuff of steam heritage volunteers;
a frame of signallers;
a maternity of MOMS
a sentry of gateline staff.

Any other suggestions?

What inventive and imaginative minds we have on this forum. :D
Well done.
Keep them coming!

A couple those of a "certain age" may appreciate:-

a "fume" of 1st gen.dmus;
a "clank" of WD 2-8-0s
